Join the MCMC Waterwatch Coordinators on the Merri Creek in Coburg to collect data on waterbug diversity. The session will cover sampling and collecting of live aquatic macroinvertebrates, and identifying live macroinvertebrates to family level in order to determine the water quality of Merri Creek. Some previous experience with macroinvertebrate identification is great but not essential.

This event is only suitable for those 15 years of age and above (those under 18 years must attend with a parent or guardian). Please wear sturdy shoes, dress for the weather and don’t attend if you are feeling unwell.
