When: 9am - 11am, Saturday 6th December 

Join Craig Burgess (Drawing Plants Together) and Angela Foley (MCMC) again (or for the first time) with your bike to check out the progress of the new Swamp Wallaby habitat on a four-kilometre community ride along Merri Creek during the Wurundjeri gunyang season (Kangaroo Apple).

Swamp Wallaby Slow Bike Tour v3

We’ll start at the bottom of Grant Street in Tate Reserve, East Coburg (west side of Merri Creek). Meet at 8:45am to begin our ride together at 9:00am. We’ll visit the six new Swamp Wallaby habitat conservation areas and make a simple, arty, group-made map along the way. We’ll head south and arrive at Merri Park, Northcote, by 10:45am. Art materials and light vegetarian morning tea provided.

This bike ride is suited to 10 years and above. Families welcome - children to be with an adult. No dogs please. BYO bike, drink bottle, hat and wear closed shoes. Please do not attend this event if you are feeling unwell.
