This webinar is for early years educators keen to connect to Country by leading simple local opportunities in the natural environment to stimulate children’s confidence, imagination and their connection to Country for Nature Play Week. This webinar supports and inspires early years educators to become nature play leaders in nearby local places on Wurundjeri Country.
WaterWatch Waterbug Community Sampling
When: 10am - 1pm, Sunday 19th April
Join MCMC and FoMC Merri Paddle, in collecting data on waterbug diversity to determine the amount of food source available for platypus.
FoMC 'Bracken Creek' – Weed Workshop
When: 10am - 12pm, Sunday 26th April
Learn to identify and remove the weeds growing along Bracken Creek!
Northcote Gorge Walk and Talk
When: 10am - 11am, Saturday 2nd of May
Join us for a walk through Northcote Gorge to hear about an exciting new project that has just begun in the area.
The walk will also include heading downstream to Hall Reserve where extensive revegetation works have been undertaken, and our staff will share indigenous plant knowledge.
FoMC Merri Park – Mother's Day Planting
When: 10am - 12:30pm, Sunday 10th May
Bring your Mum along and help Mother Earth by planting shade and water loving shrubs at Merri Park on Mother’s Day. There will also be a Welcome to Country and a BBQ.
FoMC East Coburg – Weed Workshop

Learn to identify and remove weeds growing at Tate Reserve.
