When: 6pm-8pm, Thursday 4 June
With the addition of wetlands and other Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) infrastructure, and the growing interest of local frog species and populations within our local community, this workshop aims to increase community knowledge of what constitutes key habitat elements for frogs and how you can incorporate them at home, in your local wildlife corridor or as part of a conservation group.

Local ecologist, David De Angelis, will lead us on a virtual walking tour of “good” froggy habitat and what you can do in small or large spaces. The presentation will cover the key habitat elements for frogs, biological information on local frog species, and how to identify them. David will also discuss habitat furnishing and landscaping using indigenous plants, as well as recent advances in understanding the habitat preferences of local frogs, and how this can be used to better inform how we create ponds and surrounding habitat for them.
Celebrate World Environment Day with us! This is a family friendly event (suitable for ages 8 and up). Light refreshments will be provided.
