Volunteer opportunities

Lend a hand: on-ground volunteering, work experience and group activities

VolunteersWe arrange numerous community events each year in partnership with Friends of Merri Creek and other community groups. Planting, monitoring and weeding events are often held on weekends; some of our events are ‘on-call’ and may occur during the week. The Wednesday Volunteers Group meet regulalry, once a month on a Wednesday, to give a hand at a variety of sites.

Everyone is welcome to our community events and the emphasis is on having fun. Subscribe to our events notifications if you would like to receive email invitations to events. A calendar of community events is available on MCMC's Website. Or 'like' the Friends’ facebook page.
