10am - 11:45am, Thursday 6th November
Please join Annie Bolitho, author of Death, a love project and Angela Foley (MCMC) at NECCHi East Coburg before we go for a wander together. This is a time to connect with Merri-bek's community differently, especially for those who may not ordinarily visit Merri Creek and who may be seeking solace in nature.
We encourage people to join us as gentle company. Annie will do a short reading at NECCHi and later demonstrate how to make rubbings if you’d like to join some creekside artful activity. We’ll begin at NECCHi at 10am before we walk to Merri Creek from 10:20 – 11.30 and get back to NECCHi by 11.45am.
Registration essential HERE.
Meeting point: NECCHi East Coburg Neighbourhood House, 32 Nicholson St, Coburg.
This event is most suited to adults but is suitable for everyone (those under 18 years must attend with a parent or guardian).
Please BYO drinking water, dress for the weather (sturdy shoes, a hat and long pants), and don’t attend if you are feeling unwell.
A light morning tea picnic and art materials provided.
Funded by Merri-bek Community Strengthening Grant and Merri-bek City Council.
