When: 4pm - 6pm, Thursday 23rd October

This Teachers Education Network (TEN) event is for educators in the Cities of Whittlesea, Banyule and Nillumbik, to consider innovative leadership and to better forefront and connect with Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Country for early years, primary, secondary and tertiary educators.

Community of Practice gathering for educators

The interactive gathering will be led by Dr Angela Foley, MCMC's non-Indigenous Coordinator of Biodiversity and Waterway Education (Caring for Country). In this role she develops and delivers education and engagement programs across the community in formal, informal and non-formal educative settings.

We’ll share our experiences in delivering Indigenous perspectives and strengthen our ethical understandings, confidence and knowledge. We’ll consider how to develop educational responses to intercultural teaching requirements through local seasonality, ethnobotany, geology, and freshwater ecology as well as linking with annual events, such as Science Week and NAIDOC Week.
