When: Wednesday 29th October, 6pm - 8pm
Join MCMC for this Twilight Nature Walk, to continue our connections to each other and nature in your neighbourhood.
We’ll be noticing the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung season of Porneet, as we walk to the reserve to explore this developing habitat and visit the frog spas, which are intended to provide a local refuge for the vulnerable Growling Grass Frog (Litoria raniformis).
We’ll share MCMC’s frog research, learn more about local frogs, including playing Frog Bingo to help identify frog species. You can also assist with the collection of important frog data, using the Melbourne Water Frog Census. We’ll also discuss how a new local environment group called Friends of Cashel Conservation Reserve could support your neighbourhood environment.
Registration essential HERE.
